Very happy with my washing machine repair. Our engineer assessed and fixed the problem within 20 minutes and the rates are pretty fair. The company sends you reminder texts about your appointment and messages estimating when your engineer arrives which is very helpful. First time customer, would use again. Edit: our machine broke again around two weeks after my review above, it was the same fault again. I arranged for an engineer to come out to fix it via online booking. Liam arrived promptly this morning, and assessed the problem was a faulty part that he’d put in last time. These things happen, not a bother, I was able to book an appointment rather quickly online which is very helpful when I do shift work and work odd patterns. He was very careful removing the machine as to not rip our lino, so I do not understand these reviews that paint the engineers as careless when Liam was meticulous and professional on both visits. A mere ten minute repair. I wasn’t charged, which surprised me because I was expecting at least a call out charge, but due to the faulty part, I wasn’t. I’m still very happy with my repair and the service provided by Lothian Domestics. I’d review again but I don’t think google would let me, hence the edit.
Our problem turned out to be small but the online scheduling was easy and the service great. Very happy and will use again.

Phoned on Monday evening about a washing machine repair. Given a 3 hour time slot on the Wednesday. Repairman phoned half an hour before arriving during promised slot. Quickly identified problem and gave good advice i.e. Part costly, wouldn't cost a lot more to buy a new machine and given the age of my machine other parts may well be 'ready to go'. Appreciated his honesty and he made no attempt to sell me a new machine. Happily spent time getting door open (no mean feat). Although I paid a £40 call out charge felt this was very fair.
Superb establishment with remarkable service from very knowledgeable staff. We have bought obscure spares from here for a while. They replaced a dishwasher and fixed the fridge at very short notice. They replaced our washing machine with the same efficiency, and when it blew up three months later, they took over a fight with the manufacturer (H--R), and when it wasn't resolved they replaced our machine. We opted for a better brand (Bosch) which we paid the difference. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough.

Great service. Visiting in the area and dropped clothes off to be laundered while sightseeing. I did pay extra for low heat drying which i knew that I wanted to prevent any shrinking. Was so pleased when I picked my clothes up. Have recommended this location to others

Very friendly staff and very clean and tidy...
some of the service is good like the chit chat with the employees but they have no clue on what up selling and consumer relations are and should be trained better in consumerism, i was sold an item "refurb" and you have the same item brand new for 50 pence more a week "with a 4k ultra option" and your staff did not try to up sell me for the better product but rather let me go into the agreement which i found weird as you would think the employees would know whats on the website/in the shop etc so i was not happy they did not try to offer me the better product "which most stores" would try to sell me a better option, ill stick to my original agreement with the product im getting but not to happy that no one made me aware there were other better options at a slightly bigger price which would have been very acceptable to me and i would have gone into an agreement for the brand new product...
