I'm sure if I was a child, this would be a fantastic school to attend. However, not being a child, I have no clue. Based on other reviews on here I give it 4/5. Keep up the good work
Awesome school and teachers, my son loved his primary school years here.

My daughter has attended Palmerston place for a little over a year and the only words I can say to the staff are “thank you” for helping us grow a happy and self confident child who likes dancing and singing! Although childcare in Scotland is not always affordable, this group of girls have gone above and beyond for our little angel, and we will be forever grateful! You are absolutely fantastic!
Our child has been here for two years. He's very happy. We love the staff. Lots of fun activities. Great location.

I attended Broughton High School from1953-1958 I realise what a great education I received there I was in the choir and we performed in the Messiah in the Usher Hall.I was also on the field hockey team I have travelled to many countries and I find especially in North America how badly educated the People are .They seem to know nothing of the rest of the world and live in their own little bubble E.g. Questions I have been asked UK is only England Where is Scotland Do you have a king or president How long did it take you to learn English
I've gone to this school for a year I am a Hungarian student here and I just can say it is a better place than my former school. The children are kinder, funnier and more helpful than the Hungarians (generally, of course). Or are they only typical Scottish people? Actually I do not know but I feel great here :) The teachers were really nice at the beginning and they are still. They were really understanding and they asked about Hungary and our traditions; they were very curious :D But there is a little problem: the school's appearance. That is horrible. I think it looks like a monastery what has made from stone in the 19th century. But overall I like this place :)

Staff are dedicated but are failing to do there jobs and control the pupils who are immature ... irresponsible and bully one another to a great amount
City centre school. Understand teachers to be good and kid's behaviour seems good too.

We had a Family Programme prepared with an amazing attention to detail. A diversity of great activities for both adults and children were provided. Also, the language school we went to was awesome and suited our needs perfectly. If there was any problem or requirement it was dealt with very quickly. All in all, Palmerston House provided us with an unforgettable time and experience of Scotland.
Very much enjoyed my stay. A great course, with great people.

It was a great choice to have an English course in this school. I can appreciate the way of teaching English, excellent teachers and lovely family atmosphere. This course has given me a new energy to focus on studying English. Thanks to Niki, Lindsey and to all other teachers.
It was a beautiful time and I learned a lot. I felt very welcome and I would definitely come back one time. All the teachers are extremely friendly and helpful and I can say: my English improved during this two wonderful weeks. Thanks a lot for everything! And a very big thanks to my both lovely teachers :)

Dance for All have a great selection of dance classes for children, young people and adults. They have a brilliant attitude towards dance for children, none of the snobbiness or melodrama that I had encountered at other dance classes. They know that ballet for a 3 year old isn't a serious affair! The teachers are friendly and knowledgeable, and the place has the feel of a lovely old dance school from a Noel Streatfield novel.

I really loved taking an English course here. Amazing teachers and staff. I really saw how my English improved in just 4 weeks. As I said, the teachers are really amazing, very helpful, friendly and hard-working people. I really felt at home during my stay. Classes are big, spacious, not very crowded and in a really nice place, really central. The accommodation provided by the school was also really good, well located, nice, friendly family... Edinburgh itself is truly amazing, so you won't be disappointed if you go there to study or live. I would highly recommend attending this school
A very good school with cool teachers.

The teachers and staff were all so friendly, welcoming and supportive. I instantly felt comfortable and happy to work in the environment. Would recommend it to anyone!
I love this littl Capital. The location of the school right in the center and everything within walking/cycling distance. Excellent bus connections bring you in a short time in the middle of nature. A day can be so varied between English lessons, cultural experiences and a hike, for example in the "Flotterstones" (see photos) and a concert and an Indian dinner. in the evening. On small territory in and outside the school you will meet many lovly and helpful people in all circumstances. Book short trips for the weekend at school - you will not regret it. The time was not enough for the Highlands - one of the reasons to come back. Ingeborg

Excellent professional tuition and guidance. The staff at MagiKats Blackhall were kind, always friendly and superb whilst working with my daughter to bring her up to speed on Maths and English. My case was different in that I needed an acceleration programme designed for my daughter who due to relocation, was going from the Scottish education system to the English system which is technically 1 year ahead. Ifti was very helpful in designing a programme just for my little one and gave her lots of support and encouragement which in turned gave my daughter tremendous confidence to get through the challenging work. Their method worked and my daughter is beyond ready for her next steps jumping a whole grade. (As a parent, I especially liked the daily homework work sheets that was given as this simply reinforced her weekend extra lessons learning at MagiKats). Thank you Ifti & team for the excellent service given.
Magikats is a good tuition centre, this is because it has a good atmosphere and also it has good tutors that support you if you need help on a certain topics especially for Maths and English.

I have found the classes enjoyable and useful, clear and well-structured, with an emphasis on grammar and usage. Small groups give everyone a chance to participate with confidence. I would definitely recommend SALT to anyone wishing to learn or improve Spanish.
I attended classes at SALT for 2 years and found the courses to be extremely well structured and was motivated to progress. Jorge is a great teacher and is very effective at communicating complex aspects of the language.
